"Tis better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak and remove all doubt." - Abraham Lincoln

Immense light shadows
Softly sweeping through,
Calmly savoring,
Sweet taste of death
Out of service,
Out of contemplation,
Souls of lost
Clatter down and disappear
Running from, time itself

Bringing faith,
Stuttering,
Sleepless days
Listless nights
Fall down,
Come down,
Where you’re safe,
Safe with me

Sorting through
My sorrows
Songs about
Hope and I
Struggle through
My secrets
Regrets
So long?

Past amendments,
Past strongholds,
Past demons,
Stay with me
Promises made
I’ll hold your secrets
Until,
My dying day

Senseless questions,
“What’s the matter?”
Sweeping through
My very heart
Consuming darkness,
Close me in
If you must go,
I’ll let you go

Sorting through
My sorrows,
Songs about
Faith and I
Struggle through
My demons,
My heathens,
Angels,
So fly?

And if I die,
I’ll remember you,
I’ll survive,
With you by my
Side, so I’ll
Go, so long?

Sorting through
My sorrows
Songs about
Life and I
Struggle through
My memories
Erasing me
Reaching for you,
So long…
