Which window
it hardly seems to
matter
though
many have a
favorite,
and the poets are at
their
windows
because it is their
job
for which the grosbeak
clings
to the top
of the wire fence,
hops to the ground,
tilts bill and
beady
eye, fixes
sky
before she flies
to the galvanized
gatepost.
