I could write down
all the wonderful things about you,
but then I would need
a piece of paper three miles long.
So I hope this will do:
I love you just the way you are
keep being you.

The author's comments:
I wrote this during my English Mid-Term (inspiration strikes at the strangest times, eh?). It is partially inspired by Billy Collin's poem "Vade Mecum" and Elton John's song "Your Song".

I like it. Straight forward, no gushy nonsense, and despite that, it conveys the emotion well.

Well done.

Jandee I think this is amazingly beautiful. It doesn't have to rhyme or have a special meaning it just makes sense and I love it. Great job (5/5)

Oh yay! I am thrilled you like this! I think you should look up the poem it was partially inspired by "Vade Mecum" by Billy Collin's. It's a lovely, short poem.

I like this, short and sweet. :) It's very simple, but it has a whole lot of meaning. As short as this is, it actually works out to be a lovely poem. Good job!

Lol. I actually wrote [vandalized] this on a desk at school because I was hoping someone would see it and it would make them smile.

This is definitely my favorite of yours!!! It's exactly how I feel about my boyfriend. And I can relate to finding inspiration at weird times haha, my last inspiration came in the middle of Shrek 4.

This was lovely. Short, sweet, and to the point.  Nice rhythm, and your rhymes worked well together.  That was really sweet:D

This is a really sweet poem. I love it! Short and to the point. And I know what you are talking about, I had the inspiration for my latest poem while playing Hedghog Launch... I know, a little weird, but I was bored.
