Remember when life was simple
we were ignorant and young
protected from the truth
now i see clouds of gray where there used to be blue and pink
fluffy like cotton candy
it was only a reflection of my imagination

The author's comments:
this peice reflects my feelings on how simple my life used to be before i grew up and found out that nothing is the way it seemed
