Look into the distance, what do you see?
I find fields of grasses swaying with me
A fence that tells a strong history
An old oak tree of mystery
Hills and plains so far away
Many adventures for another day
Look down to the cattle ground
Look how they eat making not a sound
Gleam to the sky of a stormy cloud
Covering it up like a darkened shroud
Springtime it calls with the rain
Softly so smooth sincere but sane
We stand there on the hill side
No longer running just to hide
A freedom of peace is all I need
My mind will open like a brand new seed
Sprouting it travels all over the land
But running like smoke through my hand
The rain slowly stops and comes to an end
New sunshine is what the sky will send
A peek of bright light shone through the blank
And rested upon the river bank
Glistening the water below our view
Can you sense it too?
