Speechless

I am speechless
I have no words
my mouth wont open
you left me speechless
you hurt me
you crushed me
I thought we were on the same team
But im wrong apparantly
So im speechless
with no words
I dont know if i'll be able to talk again
You're a trader
But you're not worth it
worth the trouble to open my mouth
So i'll stay quiet
and walk away
because....
thats what you did

Very well written and a bit sad. Silence is much more complicated than is credited by those who speak.

i feel like you really laid out the words for us so much that we didn't have to think or put any puzzle together. it was like staring through clear glass
that can be very effective, a poem that makes sense and people can relate to. i love most poems where its hidden beneath, but this is a great poem for its simplicity and strength.
