Time's Apologie
I apologize for having faith in the fact that romance is rocky and fleeting,

And that the ones who play into its vindictive games should feel just as jaded

As the last few million. Excuse my forwardness when I say that time is a murderer

To dreams and hope. And it shows the futility behind your faith in those,

Three ugly words....I love you. Forgive me when I say that every moment you spend,

Wishing, hoping and dreaming of that person is every year it will take you to forget them

...their smell, their touch. Take this to heart or whatever shred of muscle is in its place,

The moment you slide anger and hurt and heartbreak and disappointment and the epiphany

Of the futility of love under Romances door we can all go back to being faceless heart's again

Barely breathing, barely beating...just holding on.
