Listening MAG
At 3:30 in the morning
 I left the door ajar
 and turned down the music
 as I fell asleep
so that I could hear the baby crying
 because the sound reminds me
 why mothers suffer
 and children grow up
 and men die –
so that there can be babies crying
 at 3:30 in the morning.
