No more
I can't do it
I refuse to patch them back together,
mend the torn frays
I give up every time i stay strong
I forfeit my dignity, my opinions, my feelings
just to mend another thread.
And for what?
So there is one more thread to be torn?
I won't do it,
it needs to be someone elses turn
they need to suffer with what i have
because my life won't let me any longer
for once i won't be the first
to apologize
to take the blame
because I'm not sure if that
new thread is even worth
another bruise to my heart
not this time.
i won't.
