Remember when we were proud of our lame e-mails?
Remember when Myspace was better?
Remember when we were more concerned about going outside than updating our status?
Remember when we were afraid of pictures?
Remember when we had to look at the key board to type?
Remember when the scam on the side of the page was "WIN A PINK IPOD" not "WHAT WOULD YOU AND JUSTIN BIEBERS KID LOOK LIKE?!"

Yeah. Times have changed.
Aren't I suppose to say that when I'm old? Not fourteen.

Remember when the park was better than the mall?
Remembe when your best friend was your mom?
Remember when somebody was strung-out it was a big deal?
Remember when we cared?
Remember when we could tell anyone we loved them,
and it would be true?

What has consumed our lives?
Why did it end up this way?
"They" say that we're moving forward.

Remember when babies were cute to hold, not to have?
Remember weight didn't matter?
Remember when sex was icky?
Remember when Katrina was HUGE, now its looked on as a minor set back?
Remember when you got sick in 2009 and everyone screamed "SWINE FLU!!!"

What in the hell happened to us?
I look around the classroom I'm in and scoff because 75% of them aren't virgins.
90% of them don't care about school.

But, at the same time, I disgust myself. I get home and I immediatly get on Facebook.
I go to the mall, a lot.
I say "I love you"
When I don't mean it.

What happened to us?
Please, someone please, explain.
