The two of us,
Hand in hand.
Our feet a constant stream of eighth notes.
Our steps are the beat,
Our words a perfect harmony,
As you and I carve out our own little melody.
We pass the shops downtown,
But our music never stops.
We glance in windows,
Only shortly,
Before gazing back at each other.
We pass up benches and restaurants,
Instead choosing to stroll Eighth Street,
And let our music carry on.

Wonderful, my dear Remmy, simply wonderful. I felt like the cause of its beauty was the simplicity of the love in the poem, for love makes a beautiful song for each of us. But you also wrote it down so creatively! Well done.
