Goes without saying
Goes without showing
Soon we'll be praying
Soon we'll be flowing
Blood down the alleys
And blood in the street
We drink from the chalice
and stomp on the peat.

Just seeing the state of the world today, many have come to the conclusion that we'll all die a bloody mess, and few will receive the blessing (or curse) of long age.
