"Don't punish yourself," she heard her say again, but there would be punishment and pain, and there would be happiness too. That was writing."
--Markus Zusak, "The Book Thief"

My heart gives a beat, beat, beat
and my head thinks in unison
with my soul.
I must dance.
I perfect my stance, and take a breath.
Movements smooth and big
My heart goes out to a dance
of Joy.
My only wish is that
I had started onstage and not off.
My arms make big motions,
My feet brush the floor,
My face smiles.
I look to the cross
And make eye contact with YHWH.
I curtsy to him.
And walk decisively out,
unable and unwilling
To keep the grin away.

This is really good!

I like this!  It is about something bigger than any of us.  Dance as a form of worship to the Creator.  Very good!
