Life’s busy blizzards blind her,
making her forgetful.
Cloudy comfort is preferable to bright excitement.
Her harsh frost melts away to hushed slush
before summer’s talkative streams burst forth.
Her impatient lightning refuses to wait
for everyone else’s thunder.
But confidence is overcast by modesty.
Blundering breezes blow scatter-brained
thoughts across her mind.
Always curious for the next day’s forecast.
