Memory of You
I saw the weeks fly by
Everyday you were there to brighten my days.
There was nothing more I wanted.
I still remember that one night
I walked out because of you.
I left because of what you did.
You came looking to find me perched upon the stairs.
I left you crying because of what you did.
I forgave you every single time.
Now, kicked to the curb,
There’s nothing more you can say.
Ive been pushed away to far.
Never once do you talk anymore.
Im not important enough
Fore you have found another to replace me.
What did I do to deserve this?
I lie here and think of something.
Wondering why after all the words you said,
You never find time to talk to me.
You know,
I may not make it through the night,
You would never know
That fact is true,
But still you are oblivious
To the lies and pain you put me through.
I know what I need to do
I look to the skies and see
You were never the one for me.

I love it. :)
I love the way you write, and I can completely relate to this. I went through a situation like this, where I, too, fogave every single time.
Thank you for writing such an incredible piece - it's amazing.
Love and Sunshine,
