They say best friends are forever,
so why can't I commit?
The role is forever changing,
but is that really my fault?
Maybe I should just be alone,
have no one to share things with.
That probably would be easier;
moderately less pain for me.
'Cause every time I get close,
end up really trusting,
I always get hurt.
I'm no longer wanting second place.
Maybe I should just give up;
There's a lot less pain that way.
