I've fallen...
to the bottom of the darkest hole
and i can't make it out
...not by myself

I hear no one calling
only the flames calling my soul
nothing to do but sit and pout
...by myself

Then i see hands reaching
reaching to the bottom
finally...I'm not alone
No more am i a weakling
now that I've got them
lately...I've had a home

With so many hands
and so many names
they're like the water
that puts out my flames

Now I'm understanding
as I'm pulled to the surface
that REAL friends
remove all the hurt and curses

The author's comments:
I wrote this one when my mom kicked me out of the house. I stayed the night at my friends house, and i wrote it on her ipod touch. It actually came from the mind i had no pen and paper. But honestly, this made me want to cry. It makes me happy when i read this, because i know i have Excellent friends.
