I hate sympathy
You just don’t know how I feel
I could be happy or sad or just plain mad
And there would be no way for you to know

So stop saying that you are sorry
Because you know that I am not
Don’t play those sympathy games with me
What is don’t is left in the past

I am just tired of hearing how really sorry you are
I am looking to the future for a new beginning
Just go be happy like I am
And leave all the pain behind

Now that I am done with my ranting
I want to say how sorry I am for being a bother
Just give me no more sympathy
Because I am not giving you any
