Living A Nightmare
Their fuel, their ammunition, their energy, and their bullets
Are all aimed at me
They point at my heart, my head, my pride, my dignity
With their sights set and their aim fixed
The trigger is pulled
They fire all the words of hate!
These words that cannot be unheard.
They attack with their violence pushing, shoving, and throwing
They celebrate with the glares with the stares
“This is a dream”, I say to myself, “this is just a dream.”
I realize I live a nightmare!
With their giggles and laughter all around me
It won’t leave my head
Their snickers all surround me….
