How You Are
I could hold my breath
In your embrace.
I could change my mind
With just one glance at your smile.
You can take me across the world
With just looking into your eyes.
I can peer into a sea of what used to be;
And what held you back from "now".
I can hear what you want to say;
Words I could never make up.
The intertwining of our fingers
Just makes the silence sweet.
I could hold this moment forever;
Capture it with a camera.
Though, film is not what keeps me here.
It's the presense of what we are.
