If it was a unicorn it would have gored you.

“Girl you know I love you”
“Girl, you know it’s true”
I know they’re over-used girl,
But for you I’ll make ‘em new.

Your hair cascades
Like a brook down your back.
When it comes to being beautiful,
Girl you got a knack.

I look in your eyes,
And I see everything that I’ve ever wanted.
You understand me, and you listen
When I’m with you, I actually feel wanted.

I’d do anything to make you happy.
You take me to a place I’ve never been.
A place where nothing else matters,
And lust is not a sin.

A place where all I see is you,
And all I want is for you to have fun.
I love the way you look at me.
Inhibitions? I have none.

I know I’m not that great at poetry.
But I hope that you’ll accept this.
I beg you to, I need you to,
Because you’re my only wish.

I must have been rejected
About a million times.
But each time I get back up,
And I say “Girl, you know I’m fine”

Is this what you’ve been waiting for?
For me to finally break?
‘Cause I can’t count the times when I,
Put out my heart for you to take.

But you misread the label.
You saw “Break” instead.
You know, I sometimes swear that you,
Are just messing with my head.

We go Soul-Exploring,
Pour out confessions on our walks.
But when we’re out in public,
It’s like we never had those talks.

That connection that we felt,
Dissolves in the acid of the public eye.
The way you smile changes,
And I can’t figure out why.

Are you ashamed of me?
Do you worry what they’ll say?
As far as I’m concerned,
They can f**k themselves anyway

Why wont you flirt with me at school?
You always seem to ignore me there.
I act like I don’t notice,
But you can’t imagine how much I care.

Can you please just answer me?
I need a real decision.
I cant take it anymore.
Its time that I take action.

“Girl you know I love you”
“Girl, you know it’s true”
I know they’re over-used girl,
But for you I’ll make ‘em new.

This is for her. It's the first poem that I wrote for her. It's a love poem, and a mean poem, so take what you will from it.
