The words slipped out your mouth that day,
The luscious poison filled my ears
But I saw it in your eyes,
That glimmer sent shivers down my spine
It just couldn't be true
I stared in disbelief at you
How could I let this happen?
You fell in love with... Me
But I didn't love you back
No I couldn't, I wouldn't allow myself too...
I was trapped
Now who would set me free?
I felt dead, no longer like me
Confused at the thoughts
Blind sighted by your face
The only thing I could do was
Smile... And walk
Away...
