The Fall
The leaves changing colors, spinning around
Colors, covering the ground
The crunch of the leaves under you feet
As you walk down the street
The pumpkins, leaves, and scarecrows
All line in a row,
Are just some small and quick warning
That Halloween is emerging.
I love when the neighborhood kids trick or treat
Running around asking for treats
Thanksgiving and break are straight up ahead
That’s three days of just staying in bed.
The fall season brings joy to us all
But some people suffer from summer withdrawal
The leaves changing colors, and spinning around
Colors, covering the ground
Those are the greatest joys of all
This is why every loves fall
The crunching and munching of leaves under your feet
As you take a stroll down the street
These are things so small to us all
But these are what is so great about fall.
