Don't say 'I love you'
If you don't mean it
Don't lie to me like you do
Between clenched teeth
And averted eyes
Don't change your mind
So quickly, dear
Is this not what you wanted?
Am I not what you wanted?
I told you not to say it
But you said it, didn't you?
You told me you loved me.
But I didn't believe you
And I still don't
Nor will I, ever
So never say 'I love you'
If you don't mean it.
