Crying
Do you ever think of me when I am not around
For I think of you
Is it because I do that you do not
For I have no idea what you think
Why would I
I have never asked
When you smile and wave
I smile back sheepishly
When you say hello
I get tongue-tied and go uh?!
Why is it I keep waiting and not acting
What am I waiting for,
For that day you smiled
My heart skipped a beat,
And my only thought was of embracing you
Spinning you around
And kissing those luscious lips of yours
But I don’t, and I turn away
And my tears melt me on the inside
Turning my heart into cold pile of ash
