Chimney
Disgust and envy;
the smoke rose from
his mouth, bitter
on my tongue.
My withering body hung
stiff and strung
taut to some nostalgia,
smoldering in my thoughts.
I saw you then as
I saw him now and
I saw you now as
a tall brick pen.
Hollow hips, and foreign
lips - I want to smolder.
Burn in someone's mind, then
leave him behind; disgust.
Envy.
Maybe I'll start smoking
like a chimney.
Like a chimney, love.
Like a chimney.
