I Will Not Cry

The yelling and arguing
Disappointments and broken
Bones with the many scars
The tears threaten to fall
I blink back quickly
"Think happy thoughts,"
They say, It isn't that easy
Tears peek over the ledge
They are about to spill
"You will not cry,"
I repeat to myself too
Many times
Eventually I have to burst
I am leaking at the seams now
For there is only one thing
To do: I will cry
