Senses of a Snowy Winter
Snow falls upon the ground
And covers everything in reach.
The forests so empty and quiet.
No animal dare disturb the peace.
They don’t dare wreck the newly fallen snow.

In houses, children jump with joy.
After a frostbitten play in the snow,
They taste their hot chocolate,
So warm and sweet,
It warms their whole mouth.

They think of their grandma.
Grandma is so warm and sweet,
Just like their hot chocolate.
She smells like peppermint
And freshly baked cookies.

The kids run to give her hugs.
Her embrace is so warm and fragile.
She’s a glass figurine, not meant for play.
