Inside of me lies a woman
One of musical voice.
She longs to show her inner beauty
But fears the coming scorn.
Inside of me lies a lore-lover
Who chews up books for food.
She reads books over and over again
Until she knows each word by heart.
Inside if me lies a great well of tears
An endless hole of sorrow.
I have so many hopes and fears
To live and see the morrow.
