Music is a Language
Music is a language---
There is a plethora
of varieties,
and you might not speak
all of them fluently;
they might be foreign to you.
It rolls off the tongue
and is soothing---
whether you're with a therapist
or blaring
you iPod.
Different countries
Use it differently...
Speak it differently...
Write it differently...
But music isn't just a language,
it's the universal language.
But all good things
must come to an end,
like the last bar line
halts the song,
and the final period
ceases the story.
