Don't Be Cool
You act like it’s all cool
But the truth is you’re all scared
 People have hurt you
 You’re heart has been teared
 You’re alone and unloved
You no longer believe in god above
But you have this outer shell
 One no one can break
But there’s not much more your
 Fragile heart can take
Sometimes it’s okay to break down
 But don’t care
 You mope around this town
 So many feelings to share
 You say “I don’t cry”
 Just for you know
 It does to die
More people love you than you mention
And you have more than you claim
There are no more lows to sink
For you, up is the only direction
 So peel your shell
The one that can’t be broken
Free your heart of words unspoken
