Expecting the Worst
He gives me his everything
In his pocket waits his ring
He'd bend his knee and bow his head
Dreaming of the day we wed
He gives his time and love to me
Hoping I'll in turn agree
To give up just the same for him
But he knows not of my sin
A consequence too late to mend
A product of his truest friend
Growing big, with fingers and toes
And questions it will never know
And when I look into his eyes
All I see is my great lie
A heartbreak I am sure will come
When he discovers what I have done
