It shines through your window when you awake
And gives you a positive mood throughout your day
Even when it rains
Or when it is the dead of night
It is there to be your flashlight
And in the coldest of winter nights
When the snow takes over the ground
It gives you a smile
A warm sensation in your heart
Sunshine is nice to have
But you gain more light
When in the darkest place
