Pointless Mental Meandering
So, you think that everything isn’t as it seems?
     Really?
     Totally cliched.
     . . . Totally right, actually.
Funny how that works, isn’t it?
How all is not something because it’s something that you could never have anticipated?
God’s funny that way isn’t he?
Or, I guess if you don’t believe in God, nature is funny that way.
     Or fate.
     Or . . . what?
Whatever you believe in, I guess.
This probably doesn’t make much sense, what I’m doing.
I don’t even know, and I’m the one typing.
Just . . . putting my thoughts onto paper, I guess.
     Or the screen.
     Whatever.
To go back to my original thought . . .
     Wait a sec, it’s gone.
     Disappeared.
     Poof.

 Just like that.

 I hate my brain.
