If I Fall in Love
If I fall in love, I want to fall hard.
 No beating around the bush,
 No possible, even slight uncertainty.
I want to fall like a raindrop
On a one way course to earth,
Landing on the most perfect rose
And keep it for my own.

If I cross that line, I want to run.
 No shuffling or waddling,
 No moseying down the path.
I want to sprint like a race,
 Crossing the finish line,
With sweat on my strained brow,
 And hold that precious trophy.

If I should be reckless, I don't care.
 No hesitating or waiting,
 No worries of unseen mistakes.
I want to fight like a warrior,
 Fighting the doubtful thoughts,
 Destroying the insecurities,
 And win in bloody disarray.

If I fall in love, I want to fall hard.
