Sinking
I'm Sinking
Head under water
Can't catch a breath
Lungs Collapsing
Brain Spinning
Weights
There are weights
On my feet
On my shoulders
Can't seem to swim back to surface
Back to the sweet sweet calmness
The calmness of the clean air
The slight waves in the water
There is something
A hand
It's down
Down under the water
Pushing on the crown of my head
Keeping me under
Who?!
Who is it?
Stop! I scream, I yell
My energy is low
I'm worn out
Tired
Let me up I cry
Does anyone hear me?
Does anyone care...
I have no fight left
I look up
No one
Who is keeping me under
My mind races
My lungs are done
My eyes are red
I'm sinking
This battle
Is with myself
And no one can save me
As my head tilts back
And any ounce of life leaves me
I let go
And just sink
