Two Best Friends

Oh my two best friends
I could have had five
I could have had ten
but neh, only two
I see their smiling faces
one always bigger than the other
we all range in sizes
friend 1 being one half inch taller
and myself towering over
always hanging around
mostly upside down
always there to help me
whether it be homework, chores, or even eating
I surely thought we would be friends forever
until one day my mother said
wash those silly faces off your fingers
