Teenage Dirtbag
Noise to you,
Anthems to me.
Here’s another teen angst speech to throw up on the shelf.
Here’s another 3 am cigarette,
Hung over,
Craving ice cold water.
Here’s another night my attempts to forget you,
Fail.
Here’s another unmended heart,
Untamed soul.
Our music is dulled like the sunlight through the tinted window.
Smoke rings look like a cloud of fog.
Stammering,
Stuttering,
Here’s me falling all over you again.
This endless song reflected in your eyes.
