Postcard from my dreams
There is a place I go
A place deep inside my twisted mind
Dreams, are a dangerous thing sometimes
Tonight, there is hurt in the air
Frowning faces lurk in corners
Yesterday, this place was filled with love
Rich red roses, candy hearts...
But now lies and hatred hide behind fake smiles
And the candy hearts are gone; the roses, dead
You can come visit if you would like
If I were you though, I would stay home
The faces here, the ones that look at you
With dissaproving eyes
They will haunt you for eternity
Not many can last in the land of my dreams
Even I myself, must wake up sometimes
