Sticks and Stones
sticks and stones may break my bones,
but words will never hurt me,
'til you say that things that break my heart,
then leave me and desert me.
I do not know how this will go,
but I know one thing for certain,
that you will never change at all,
you've just become a burden.
Your twisted lies,
your harsh replies,
there's nothing left here for me,
but your soiled memory.
Now I'll say goodbye,
I'll cut my ties,
but I think that you should know,
you had my heart, you had my soul,
and now I have to let you go.
