I Bleed Words

Everyone bleeds.
It’s a fact of life
I bleed words.
Others bleed regrets or secrets.
Lies, betrayal.
I bleed words.
Words that were said, lost somewhere in my head
Come out from my wounds.
I scrape my leg
And “You’re Fat” comes rushing out.
I slice my thumb and
“worthless” lands on the cutting board.
I bleed words.
