Fallen Angel
She wanders the world,
from dawn to dusk,
a creature of the skies,
a fallen angel.
She knows she is not meant to be here,
she keeps searching, searching . . .
for a way out of this frustration,
but she cannot resist the calling arms
of this planet,
and the frustration fades,
but comes back later,
always too late.
She feels she cannot live
unless she inhales the sweet scent
of the blossoming flowers.
She can barely imagine existing
unless she drinks up its nectar
and caressing every form of matter.
She is a being of a world,
lost in the seeming beauty of another,
whether she will be strong and willing enough
to return to her true place once again,
nobody can tell for sure.
