Death
unexpected and sudden
out of the nowhere
from the shadows
it appears
to bring back those chosen
never knowing when it will strike
and who it will take
yet when everything
seems hopeless
out of the depths of darkness
in the end
light will appear
and love will triumph

The author's comments:
I mainly wrote this when my grandfather was very sick and I faced the fact that it would hurt me very much when he dies.
