I Am Wind

I’m just like the wind.
You can’t see me but I’m right there.
Fighting for your attention.
Howling above everything.
Or a simple whisper in your ear.
I move through the cracks,
Easily unseen.
The ability to have my presence known,
But go unnoticed by every human being.
My touch can be gentle.
And caress the outer layer of your face.
Or it can be a vengeful force if you dig deep enough,
For which you have to brace.
