repeat repeat fade
water, lemonade
simple vices and grips
linger on my lips
and you, the one I crave
like a fresh ghost
sprung out of the depths
like a word that doesn't sound right
just make the most of your captivity
allow yourself the pleasure of knowing
how to fake it for a moment
to pretend you are more than a little bleeping dot
not even large enough to be seen by the average human eye
and maybe someday a child will look up into the night sky
and your red cape will register
inside of their wild hazel looking glasses
