Beauty
I can see,
Because when I open my eyes each morning
You are the first thing that they see, and
Such a beautiful sight you are to awaken to.
I can smell,
Because I have smelled your sweet scent so,
And it has awakened my mind and
Touched my heart softly.
I can hear,
Because I have heard your soft voice,
And it has hushed the rought and stormy
Seas that I sometimes speak.
I can taste,
Because I have tasted the way that you taste,
Skin so sweet from your lips to your hips that
I hunger for no one else.
I can die,
Because I have loved you,
And what else there is to life,
Amounts only to less.
