Thoughts of You
When I think about you
 I think of your hands
 how they wrap around mine
how they feel on my cheek

 I think of your hair
 how, when you lie down,
 it slides across your forehead
and how I play with the tendrils
when your head’s in my lap

 I think of your eyes
how the sun brings out hidden gold
how when they meet mine, I see my future with you

 I think of your body
how it moves, so much more graceful than mine,
how your heat warms me when we sit
 hip to hip
 shoulder to shoulder

 I think of your voice
how it rumbles next to your heart beat
 up your throat
and out, into a sweet whisper for only me

 When I think about you
 I think I’m in love
