Words.
I never knew how much
 Words could mean
Until I gave into the emotions
 That defeated me.
 They pushed me around,
 And bullied me.
 I feared for my life
 Before the day
 That I realized words
 Can empower me.
I sat down at my table,
 And I began to write
 My words.
 With that first assignment done,
 I knew my words were
 The best part of me.
I had a bully no more,
 And through my words
 I found
 That I can find
 Myself.
