Without A Crutch
"You're almost done."
That's what they say,
A loaded gun pointed my way.
Now its time for work, not play.
"Everything will be different now.
Say goodbye and take a bow."
I'm speeding towards the future fast.
There's no time to look back on the past.
Now I'm being pushed out the door,
Just hoping I don't fall flat on the floor.
"What's on the other side?"
They don't tell me much.
"That's what you must decide,"
They say as I go through the door without a crutch.
