I have so many things to tell,
But cannot find the words,
I wish that I could speak like Grey,
And allow my words to flow.

Countless pages defaced,
As I try to write,
That brilliant piece of work,
So far beyond my sight.

A solid wall of twenty feet stands within my way,
My brain cannot break it down,
Today or any day.

This is just a short poem about writer's block since I'm sure all of us here have got it at some stage or another.

Thanks for the comment SecretFlame. With regards to the third line, that it a reference to the televison show Grey's Anatomy and the beautifully written monologues on the show. Basically, this poem came from a volume of poetry where each poem was inspired by something from television. Hope that clears it up.

This describes writer's block very well. The flow is beautiful and the word choice is good. The one part that confused me was the third line in the first stanza. But overall I liked it!
